Which trowel will leave a higher adhesive bed between a 10mm sq notched and a 20mm half crescent?

in theroy, they should do the same job!

but i find a half round gives better coverage!
to be fair i start with 1 trowel, if the bed is not perfect, i move up a trowel.

but if i have done the plastering i use a 6mm square notch on walls
and on floors i always use a 20x10mm floor trowel.

Same as the others on the floor trowel Dean but on walls I normally use a 6mm Square notch for ceramics and a 8mm for larger/heavier tiles..

Level it and you will get a better finish and less problems tiling. In a word "Preparation"

done already mc but I need to clear the sensor coax that i didn't chase out for ufh.

Aye right, I remember reading another thread where you mentioned that...:lol:

No sweat mate, but can you still not chase the conduit in carefully now? If not I would still just level over again - just feather away over a 1m or so if your worried about using too much leveller:thumbsup:

use a "blunt" chisel, scrape carefully in a "safe..ish" area,

you only need a few mill, bury sensor, and cover over in duct tape,
use a floor trowel (20x10 round) and carry on as normal.

you wont be the first to forget the sensor... or the last,
its a problem because it dont come in the heat mat box, its with the thermostat...

ive done it, so i know how you feel.. chin up big man.

use a blunt chisel and scrape the slc, slowly! you will sort it!
