Re-doing Dodgy Cowboy Work

Serious botch job like the rest of the house - Couple moved in last year and having to put right each room. I was there in the summer putting them a boarding the loft out and putting in a bigger loft hatch and boarding, old hatch wasn't braced in any way - just nailed to the totally unsupported cut joists causing the landing ceiling to sag and crack.
So now I'm back to do their downstairs loo - can't quite understand why anyone would spend a grand on tiles for a downstairs loo but I suppose it will look nice.

Started the rip out and the rogueness has made me giggle:

I asked if the same toilet was going back in and he said 'yes if I think it's okay - but this one takes ages to fill'

That window would have worked with a grout joint either side of the window. ( with a little packing out.)

The window wall was out by 80mm top to bottom - got it down to 40mm after taking out a huge bulge under the sill but still no good to tile on even after stripping the wallpaper off (yes it was tiled onto wall paper). Decided best way forward was to stud it out. That would also help with the toilet feed that comes through from utility room in a way that it can't be chased in unless I remove worktops and units and re-pipe from there and I wasn't going to do that.

Not much window frame on show on the sill. It had an offcut of gloss kitchen unit, plasterboard, tiles and then more tiles

Yeah - can of worms spring to mind.
Nice and solid and reasonably level but going to slc them to get floor perfect.

The gaps between pb and reveals was intentional Need to clad the timber and cove the voids from packing out around window with cement board and all should be good.

Question - would you guys centre the wall or window? (normally I'd centre the window as it's a feature) but I'm thinking wall in this case as the window isn't central and nor is the toilet and the tiles are 30x900s and the wall s about 970mm.
