Who else is working today?

I nominated myself for a day at work, more so because I knew it would be quiet with many others off and only the production and maintenance people in. I'm hoping to get lots done without interruption today.

So, who else is working? Working on a job? Working on something because the wife said so? Or just working on a plan to get out of the house before the kids drive you mad?

And who has the pleasure of celebrating the long weekend with a beer?:8:

I've took the day off, [emoji16].
Need to take car down to my mates garage & get him to look at it for me though.
For a lazy day, away fishing tomorrow then dropped off in Glasgow at my mates & out on the town for the wife's birthday.
Back to the grind on Monday if I can be bothered. [emoji6]

Liking the plan Stef

Don't talk to me about cars and garages... mine needs a recon gearbox. Been driving it around for a year but finally biting the bullet and getting quotes :'( I'll be selling Mr GRR's tool collection to part fund it at this rate.

Lazy day today, wife's birthday ,so eating out tonight with kids, then mad party tomorrow with friends, so will need Sunday to recover then out with family and mates on Monday again, so probably need Tuesday off to recover again, not gonna happen though 🙁

We have an Alfa Brera & it's one thing after another with it.
It was my wife's uncles car & we ended up with it after he died, brilliant cars to drive but murder to run.
It's a 57 plate & only done 40k but you would think it's done 240k.
Their all good when running.

Having only had one Sunday afternoon off in the last 3 weeks I'm having a long weekend off. Well, I say off but I'm sure SWMBO will find me something to do when I get back from walking the dogs in the mountains.

Working but not for money!Almost 9 hours to drive 310 miles last night so chilling out today.Tomorrow the garden (weather permitting) then general house maintainence for the spring.Sunday out for lunch and football Newcastle v the unwashed.Monday sorting out my tools and van ready for Tuesday drive and another enjoyable period of work.Seems like a Saturday today, watching Viva and all the No1s - might have to get my juke box on and listen to all the oldies.Enjoy your day GRR.

Felt like rubbish for last 2 weeks and haven't worked this last week due to viral infection, spent last 3 days in bed with a personal nurse, well the Missus anyway, back to it on Tuesday.

Was going to work but thought about it and booked campsite in ashbourne for 4 nights.just gone back to work today and could just go away again. Anyone who hasn't been around ashbourne area is missing out I would highly recommend it.

Ashbourne isn't too far away for me, and we go camping over that way a fair bit too. Visited Dovedale and the stepping stones recently too. The Peak District is such a lovely place and a lot of people don't realise they're just 40 minutes drive from it.

Red just seen your post how are you keeping.

all good over here Pete, although I've just survived my first school holiday since leaving school. looking forward to going back to work for a rest
