Buisness cards...letter heads

Help me with name of my new biz please!!!and advise on stationary.

Hi peeps

Im looking to set a tiling business up once ive done my course at NETT and got a few months hands on experience under my belt!

Can anyone help me with my choice of business name? Heres a few ive thought of as yet,

1. M & M Tiling (Initials)
2. M & M Tiling Services
3. M & M Ceramics
4. Tiling 4 U
5. M.M.T Tiling (Initials+Tiling)

Which one peeps? And any other suggestions?

And also can anyone advice me on any companies that will design my logo,letterheads,biz cards,flyers,T-shirts Etc... (Cheapest)lol

Think the name is totally up to you Monty to be honest.
For business cards go to , vistaprint.co.uk, free cards all you do is pay for delivery charge which isn't much.
Also got my leaflets and letterheads done from a printers in Leyland, about 20 min drive from Manchester. Cost me £49 for 5000 leaflets and about £15 for a big thick Invoice book with my name and numbers etc printed on them.
Will look around later for the number for the printers if you are interested mate, got it wrote down somewhere.

Although not many keep to this sort of unwriten law, If you want people to remember you make it different. Initials dont really stand out in any advertising.
Its tough to come up with something related but worth it in the long run. I'd look for ideas involving white lines, precision, clean etc stuff like that. and a comical side can sometimes work well, depending on the market your heading for.

Yes, I was thinking of putting a man on the logo, I like the idea with the tressels!:shades_smile:

I get my buisness cards here... Welcome to Goodprint - the highest quality business cards on the web! ..........letter heads i do my own..t/shirts i get from a local supplier...

there are few tilers with that logo..try another there are a few on there the dont have to be from the tilers section.......i got 2000 cards from them for £40.00......not bad i thought......dave...

A business (or calling card )is an extension of who you are.Choose very wisely the message you would like to convey.To help out,I have compiled a chronological path,that I took from boy to man.So here we go 1st ever printed card for me was this one...out of my time as joiner...into selling 19rs old...Gaz

Broke away...and designed my own cards..a mate printed them for me cost £20 !000 cards..he scanned them and printed them

As timed progressed..I dropped vinyl and cork.and moved to Amtico(American Tile Corporation).. that is when the knee problems started

Moved into more solid sticky tiling and re-brandad,adding design as well as tiling prowess

Good comment Fekin,i agree so why not put on the cards what kind of tiling you specialise in monty.Take a bit of advice and wait until after you have completed the course and you will have a much clearer understanding mate,dont want you to waste your cash matey.:wink_smile:
