Hi Bansco, I did over 70 stores Aldi, Lidl, and Netto. Over a period of 10 yrs maybe more. Power vibration system, my gang saw the german tilers off. I did a Aldi in Chicago of all places, Mike mz30 was part of the team for a while. I must agree about the hard graft, the 25 ton of ready mix screed every morning was a bit daunting. But as you say, the money was very good.

I still get the odd enquiry for power vibro jobs, a bit long in the tooth now, but good to know I was a part of it.

Took me 2hrs 20 this morning only to sit there for 3 hours waiting for a delivery of adhesive to arrive:mad2:
2 of us got 60m2 down by half 5 so not too bad in the end. Got a load of supermarket work starting in Jan, think I need a caravan!!

same jobs phil same spec, 120 m2 per day 10 day programme. We done quite a few around the country it was a p-ss-r when the readymix turned up late, never did any overseas but was fortunate enough to work on a club med complex in the bahamas for 3 months. Every weekend off, it was tough.

Hi mate we only had nine days to complete, including skirtings, safe plinth, freezer plinth and bucket sink. Glad I manage to stay local mostly these days. I bet we have a few common acquaintances in the game.

probably do phil, I remember a really good old floorlayer mick higginson was still doing aldi-lidl floors with his team and they were all retirement age, unbelievable how they got through them.
