Which tiles for covered outdoor patio?

E

ellexesse

Hi
We have a covered, outdoor summer kitchen, which rarely gets any water (if at all) from rain etc. It is currently old concrete, and we want to improve it cosmetically. So I was thinking about tiles, however we also need to park a car in there during the winter. I also suspect that we have moisture as there is evidence of scaling and the chairs that have been sitting on the concrete clearly show moisture damage. Is it even possible to tile this?? I am going around in circles, looking at self leveling concrete vs tiles vs doing both and am now wondering if it is even possible to tile at all. I'll attach pics to see if anyone can help at all.

Thanks
Elle

Morning Elle.
Firstly im afraid i can't view your pictures as im on mobile and it doesn't work for me 😡 so answering a little blind.
I would say its certainly achievable to tile and sounds like it would be a lovely job for your tiler to get their teeth into.
Do you know if the substrate has any damp proofing? You would have to use a more specialist adhesive for your tiles if you're driving a vehicle onto it. Something like BALs Motobond or a competitors equivalent.

there's a quite a few guys here that do more specialist/commercial/high end work that will be able to advise your best options.
Good luck and welcome to the forum
