used an 8mm notched trowel on mosaic tiles - problem?

i tiled my wet room tray with small mosaic tiles. trouble is i used an 8mm notched trowel and now realise i should have used a 3/4mm. the adhesive i used is mapei keraquick in white. some of the adhesive came through the gaps in areas so i wiped the surface down. is this going to be a problem? the grout will be the same colour as the adhesive

It will show through, you need to clean the joints out...

For future reference don't use a trowel thickness great than half the tile thickness to prevent squash through..

as dave as all ready said you will need to clean joints out white grout will stand out like a sore thumb with the white tile adhesive

Could you not score the tile all over then drill a few holes with a masonary drill, tap in the middle of the tile.

Don't wack to hard, the vibration might loosen more than one tile.

apart from the aesthetical side of things, will it cause any other complications? this is all a learning curve for me so me and the missus could live with a bit of a colour difference on the grout lines in the shower area. i'm sealing the mosaics with some liquid sealer after so this might correct the colour slightly as it sets darker

Hate to say it but every time you look at it you will see the difference, especially in a room used for CONTEMPLATION
