Been reading old threads re trowel sizes and notice a lot of the guys have recommended the use of a 10mm 'u' notched trowel for floors. However, such a trowel does not seem to exist. I can buy a 10mm square notched trowel anywhere but not a 10mm 'u' shape. When you mention a 10mm u notched trowel, are you talking about a 20mm x 10mm solid bed trowel ???

Yeah it's a 20x10mm, the diameter of the notch is 20mm and the depth is 10mm, so your adhesive ribs would have a depth of 10mm.

Deano, if that picture does indeed portray a picture of the elusive 10mm 'U' notched trowel, where can I buy one ? Just seems strange I can't find a supplier.
