Been doing a couple of jobs for a local builder, One house was kitchen and utility walls and floors and a conservatory with ufh. Unfortunately the guy that owned the house tiled the bathroom himself, you would have thought that after the first couple of tiles he'd have realised that tiling really wasn't for him.....

Did he think he had done a good job..
I didn't ask to be honest, it was the second job I'd done for this builder and didn't want to offend his customer by asking too many questions about it! The whole lot is shocking, these are just a few of the worst bits!

To be honest some of that work almost fits where it touches, almost:lol::lol:
One of the 25mm slithers above the shower had broken into 3 pieces, he still stuck them up and grouted the gaps!!

i was in a relatives in lancashire recently and he'd just finished tiling his bathroom. what a mess it is but the best of it is he thinks it is a spot on job and is now doing tiling jobs for other people. his last job took him 14 hrs and earned him £450. i had to bite my tongue. i wish i earned that much :mad2:

Depends on supplier . Theirs 57 meters in the house to do .when i opened the pallet today theirs a batch issue so refused to lay

Here are a few photos of a floor we went to look at a couple of weeks ago. the tiler came recommended, one of the residents had already paid for a flight to fly the tiler to italy to tile their house there. he had been there 2 days before he got his marching orders and he never went to italy. the tiles are johnsons made turkey. I have posted some photos of the finished floor in the show us your work thread.

to be honest we couldn't believe it when we saw it, we couldn't stop laughing! we ripped it up and relayed it for a very cheap price as there was not much money left in the pot. also the was family involved and we felt sorry for them .

Had crocodile at this restaurant and my mate had zebra,they were both fantastic and the service was excellent.Shame I couldnt say the same about the tiling,my girlfriend says theres something wrong with me for taking these pics when we're having a romantic meal lol
