Hi Folks.
Firstly thanks for taking the time to read this. I will be fitting underfloor heating into my kitchen/diner and conservatory. Both have a wooden joist floor and boards on top. I need to keep the hight down as much as possible but obviously need some form of insulation. The conservatory has good foam insulation under the floor (about a foot) but there is nothing under the kitchen diner. The floor space is about 25m square in total.
What i need advice on is whether the Therma coat stuff is any good and how much of a benefit will 6mm foam give anyway? As i said i need to keep the floor height down and with 6mm tiles, 3mm adhesive, 3mm underfloor heating, 6mm insulation and 3mm adhesive to bond that to the floor we are already at quite a height.
Any advice on keeping height and costs down would be grately appreciated!!
Thanks
Rob
