Small Mosaic Border Tiles

Hi - what is the general consensus re. using mosaic tiles (backed on webbing sheets) which include small metal sections in shower areas. I have conflicting information about whether they should/should not be used. Any advice and guidance gratefully received

Will be fine if fixed and grouted correctly.
