i have a small amount of runout in my kitchen worktops , i am going to use coloured grout with matching Silicon , any thoughts about a min and max width Silicon line along a worktop ? 🙂

Could you not bed the other end into the wall slightly to close the gap at the run out end

not an ideal scenario but if you have tiled it and are happy to Silicon it then i wd advise you to get cornertape..the small one wd be ideal for splashbacks as its minimal however on this occasion i would use medium which is a 6mm tape joint and will give you a thicker but neat joint of Silicon to cover the run off

Are we talking about the worktop dropping down 4mm or coming away fronm the wall 4mm ?

worktop dropping down , had another look and a packer i had put in has dropped out as i have screwed the worktop down and i didnt notice , replaced it and i have no more than 2 mm variation along the whole worktop :hurray:

its easily done mate

problem is it takes awhile for the top to drop so you dont realise
