Has anybody used Silicon carbide discs on floor polishing machines to remove laitence from anhydrate screeds .

Just wondered how effective they are and whether I should get some to go on my polisheryes. why?!
Thanks . I take it you mean Silicon carbide discs attached to polisher . If so how many metres do they last forI use a 60 grit sanding disc - works well

I'm not sure got it second hand it's a truvox trophy . I wouldn't want it if was any heavier.is your polisher a light duty sanding type or is it for concrete polishing?
