I'v just been asked to price a brand New dogs kennels. The layout is one big hallway, with 16 kennels, a office, and a store cupbard, coming of it. The job is 127msq 600x400 porcelain floor tiles, 176 tiles/ 47msq for skirting, 8msq ceramic wall tlies. All the grout is to be epoxy.

Just done my usual msq pricing and it comes to about £6500, does this sound about right, Mats should cost about £1200.

Any advice is really appreciated, thanks.

Sounds a bit expensive mate, but without seeing the job I might be wrong. That works out at £35 per m and I think you might need to get closer to £25 per m if you are not the only one quoting for the job, so between £4500-5000.

Don't forget to allow for the difference in price between grouts, epoxy over normal grout, both price per item plus extra labour needed for epoxy.

sounds ok there was sombody on here that paid a builder £39 per m2 to muck up there bathroom

I'd be more interested in the size of the tile 600x400mm for slip resistance and whether it's polished or not.
The surface of the tile is paramount in these situations both for staff and the dogs and a smaller grip foot unpolished solid porcelain would be my recommendation.
It may also set you out from others who will just quote on what the customer 'likes' rather than H&S standards.
