new to tiling

hi all
Havent done any tiling for a number of years ,not as a pro like most of you lot seam to be--one question i could use help with--wall tiles--what thickness of trowell 3mm or 6mm Thanks

Use a 6mm on normal tiles, use a mosaic trowel on mosiac (obviously)

Same as Gaz mate, although there are times depending on size and weight of tile where I would use a floor trowel on walls, something to bear in mind :wink_smile:

WELCOME M8,ask away m8 gaz is spot on as is varley,varley is talking about using a floor trowel on the walls for larger tiles.Hope the lads have helped you out.

Welcome m8. I had to use a floor trowel on the walls last week as the tiles where large and the walls were not as flat as i would have hoped. Getting the spacers out again is a pig coz the tiles slip and wedge them in real tight.
