Hi all, when fitting Marmox boards around a shower bath is it best to get the bath in situ and board up the to the bath or board the entire wall and then put the bath in after. Does it not make too much difference either way (apart from saving some board if you go down the first route)? Thanks

Personally, I board up before bath goes in. That way, if there is any kind of leak, there is no damage to the wall underneath the bath. I board out, strap walls & frame for bath, put bath in, seal around bath, tile then put a second seal on. Everybody has there own preference though. Some like to tile then put bath in.

I'd board first too but make sure the walls are bang on 90 degrees to ensure there's no gap between bath and boards

Would it not depend on the type of profile the bath has. Some baths need to be fitted into the wall framework with any substrate fitted and sealed in/over that profile. When waterproofed this ensures an excellent seal between bath and wall. If this is the case you should have installation instructions with your product. Otherwise if it comes with it's own cradle then it may just need fitting up to any substrate on your walls.
