whats your biggest national lottery win ...if you play it?

mine is a misely £32 for 4 numbers.

£1504 in 2002, I was in sainsburys waiting to buy 5 lucky dips, an older guy pushed in front and bought the same amount, I turned to my missus and said "bet he wins, he has had my numbers" She was checking it on the saturday, "got that, got that, got that, bloody hell, got that as well," then she was up and jumping about and said we had 5 numbers, Got the cheque 2 weeks later.
So the next time someone pushes in the queue, you never know.

The week before 5 numbers was around 10k.

only done it once er indoors rang me to ask me to do it for her she does it weeks at a time we won £84 and she still had a week to go on her numbers so won it twice £168 lol but that was a while ago

My mum was in a syndicate and they won £12,000 but there were 30 something of them so it didn't work out that much. She isn't in it now and spends a good £30 a week on it. I told her to save it up in a tub but she doesn't listen lol.

If you had £1 per week on the lottery, and the total every week for the jackpot was £10,000,000. How many years would you need to live for you to get an even chance (so you'd put as much money in, as you would get out)?

Work that one out and then see if you feel like having a "lucky" dip. 😀

Couple of hundred quid quite few times, I have a little system where by I pick 12 numbers, one of these numbers I put in every line, the rest I do different combinations of the remaining 11. This way if you get 3 or more numbers (out of the 12) it is likely to appear on more than 1 line.

The very first time I tried it I won £167 (4 numbers and 3 x 3 numbers) although technically I wasn't allowed to claim as I was 15 at the time 😳

never more than a tenner on the lotto,won £100 and a few £70 odd wins on scratchcards though,i have more luck with william hill at least the football is an educated guess

Don't do it anymore. Won a tenner about a year after it started, but the same day the petrol cap on my Vauxhall Nova fell off which cost me about £12 to replace What life gives with one hand, it takes away with the other 😛rrr:

Can you give me an example of that mate? Just to clarify for me.

So you have 12 numbers, and 12 lines (goes, whatever). Or you have 12 numbers but 4 goes?

sure was Brian,but it was in a northern bookies too,i know a guy who took £23,000 out of the same bookies on horses, lol. well for some.
hotpicks on the uk lotto are similar.

i'm going out on mine in the morning,5miles through a forest park on a bike trail the on sunday i'm in for it :yikes::yikes:
I'm supposed to be meeting a guy at 8.30am and driving to a forest 20 miles away and going for a 10 mile ride through another trail with jumps etc !! this guy is a pro(more than me anyway-hehe) so not sure what to expect,my new bike- £575,his- £1500. not looking good i'd say:yikes:

I was pleased as punch a few Weds' ago, got 4 numbers (for only the 2nd time since it started). Then checked the Lotto site to find out i'd won £19.

For 4 numbers i didn't even get a score, dunno why i bother :mad2:
