NICE job......

I have just started a large polished Applestone bathroom this week....nice stone ..

cheers Dave
I agree, very nice stone. this was polished on the walls and honed for the floor. took 5 coats of sealant, 2 before grout and 3 after.

went with butt up joints as the stone was shailing with the quirk joint i normaly use, but had to polish all the tile sides:thumbsdown: used the fein

I have a polisher with diamond pads........makes light work...did conscider the fein but went for a polisher as it's more for what i do..

same here doug !

didn't realise the beard had got that long realy must have a shave this week

I got one of those new Pro range from silver line with a variable speed...but i am getting a flex one soon, they are smaller in size so easier to handle than a larger polisher..

The flex ones are more designed for intricate stone work...

That's your best entry to date I think Spanish. I must say well done for not only entering every month (I think) with great jobs but also for giving us all a giggle with the monthly mug shot:drool5:

Good job TST,
Here's my entry, The Vestibule of a 160 year old church which was undergoing a renovation

Olde English tiles were used, Collingford design, with Twist border. 14m2 in total,50x50mm squares and 50x50x70mm Triangles, over 5800 tiles!!! Tiled with BAL Mosaic fix and PCI Grout

I Have to say this was the most complicated design I have ever done, not the centre but the border, as ,when you turn a corner with it the pattern is going the opposite direction!( and there are 12 corners)I spent a full evening drawing out a corner to get it right and dry laying some the next day
I was looking forward to doing it for a while but very glad to finish it!:8:
