thats a decent international result when you are bleeding new talent,i don't think you guys can have any complaints considering it's an unfamiliar team
all you need to do us stop the english self-destruct attitude, all we need to do is turn up and win the world cup,i've thought for a few tourneys now that on paper england are probably the best team but there arrogance and media hype gets ahead of themselves, they need to dig in and think they are going to show the world what they are capable of and realise it needs a team effort!
Did not watch the game, took advantage of the clear streets and went for a walk ,without bumping into blokes weeing up dust bins and trying to chat up teenagers !!! 🙂
I was also impressed with Alan Johnson, and the left back Gibbs.
Zamora did himself ok. (first Fulham player since 1967.)
And another reason for goal line technology.
No doubt it will be bad PA that will dominate the papers - Beckham etc.
Thats what we need, some Arsenal boys in the team. Walcott is looking lively this pre-season, Gibbs played a good half. Jack Wilshere will be the one to watch this season. Next world cup (4 years time) Jack will be running that midfield.
Well played Stevie G. Thats what I like to see, a captain leading by example :hurray:
