Hello all, thought I'd drop a post and say hi. This is my first post although I've been viewing this forum for some time.

I am looking at doing a 3 week course at ableskills and learning how to tile. I have a full time job but at the age of (almost) 29 I need to get myself out there and learning while I still have the drive. Hopefully get a bit of weekend work, do some jobs for family and get some hands on experience behind me.

I don't expect to become an a pro in 3 weeks but looking forward to learning the ropes. How to price up etc. Ideally I would like to go into Bathroom and Kitchen fitting but have decided that tiling is where I would like to begin. None of this should be too difficult (own trumpet being blown) as I am a fast learner and competent in a lot of diy jobs etc i do and have done for myself and others.

I am going to undertake my first tiling job this weekend. The floor in my toilet/utility room 4 m2.

Any words of advice/encouragement/discouragement (on courses etc, not the utilty room) would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Scott
