Glass Balls instead of Sand in Adhesive?

Anybody heard of an adhesive (apparently popular in a certain country) that uses "glass balls" I think he said, instead of adhesive. He definitely said glass something. Might not have been 'balls' per se. lol

Wondering if A) you've ever heard of it B) if you have, you've ever used it and C) if you haven't, would you like a free bag or two to use test out?

I am guessing it is a recycled glass instead of sand to make it environmentally freindly. We use it in screeds and concretes as well. Never heard of it in adhesives but makes a lot of sense. Can't see why it would be an issue in fact on the contrary because different sands have different water absorption rates whereas glass I'll be pretty constant meaning that th water demand will be constant.

That's probably what it is Al you'd know more than I.

I'll get more details and already have an article to publish, some adhesive to give away, and some to give to JOTM winner etc. A guy wants a load testing. He thinks not only would it be the most eco-friendly adhesive in the UK, it's actually really good stuff to work with too.
