hi, i am laying a porcelain floor onto an old screed with flexible adhesive, it is 8m x 7m, do i need an expansion joint or expansion perimeter?

I wouldn't bother with expansion joints apart from a expansion around the perimeter. 3mm joint with 3mm around the perimeter should be fine.
