Do you ever find ensuites deceiving, I put a quote in for this one and iv'e been on it 5 days now and probably 3 more to go, no suite involved. Tiles were a pig to remove and damaged a lot of wall, had to reboard and tank shower area, got away with rest of room, but a lot of tricky areas to get round, Iv'e done full refits quicker than this, iv'e put extra on the job and customer happy with that. Just some jobs throw you.

Sometimes we work all day in these things and at the end of the day I'm scratching my head wondering where did the time go and why couldn't we get more done? None of us smoke and rarely spend much time on the phone, lunch maybe 20 minutes or so....It just takes forever to do some of this stuff.:mad2:

In the past customers have asked me why the smaller room is almost as expensive as the larger room, even though there is less tiling. I always allow a little more fore a small room as you try swinging a 60x40 trav in a 1500 x 1500 room with a 760 square cubicle!

Takes forever and guarantee any tools you need are always outside the room!

I have a cloakroom to start Mon and its pathetically small, will be even worse when the 60x 40 black riven porcelain are on wal and floor!

just in the middle of doing 3 in stone at the minute. all 600x400 plus wetroom floors. wet cutter is in garage at far end of house about 30 second walk away only about 10 tiles that dont need cutting in each room. must be walking a half marathon each day

Finished it yesterday, took me 8 days in total, I have done full bathrooms with suite quicker than that, I think reinstalling old stuff really slows you down. Learning curve for future quotes.
