Cracked Tiles

i had my bathroom professionally tiled in March, after 3 weeks several of the tiles on the wall where the shower is fitted had lots of hairline cracks, they were replaced by the tiler but the same thing has happened again. I am reluctant to buy more tiles if the same thing is going to happen again, does anyone have any ideas why this may have happened?

What is the substrate ?

Adhesive bed to big / dot and dabbed if crazing type of cracking, or if straight crack possible movement in wall.
Was it tiled onto ply?

It an internal plasterboard wall, built in the 1960s, and was previously the toilet with wallpapered walls. Had the bathroom and toilet knocked into one room in March and so the wall affected is now where the shower is fitted, hope that makes sense! I am grateful for any suggestions, thanks.

You can't see the cracks on a photo as they are so fine, but I believe the tiler used the dot and dab method to fix the tiles to the wall, having read other websites it looks like this is a big no no in the tiling world.

I saw a whole wall of white villeroy and boch tiles go like fine crazy paving which had been dot and dabbed

Thanks for your advice, got the job done by a local bathroom fitter so am nervous to see what his reaction will be when I go back to complain, but I certainly can't afford to pay someone else to sort it out.
