Builder is putting down a 6 " concrete slab and asking me how long till I can tile. Approx 10 m2. I don't know how long that takes to dry out, help please!!!! Its not screed, I don't know why not!

Standard domestic flooring grade concrete takes same sort of time as screed to dry out properly i.e. 1mm per day unless it is powerfloated which will "seal" the surface a bit more. Something like Green screed adhesive or a liquid DPM or Ditra might be the answer if you need to tile quickly. Bear in mind though that if you tile too soon there is likley to be efflorescence.

Ditra/Dural will stop efflorescence coming through if the joints are sealed as well.. IMO Vapour membrane is the way..
