'WE' do....:mad2:

But the Cockney Mafia strike again - Ashley will not be content until he has destroyed our beloved club:thumbsdown: The man treats people like dirt on his shoes:mad2:

Shocking!
Hughton did a cracking job and with very little money
My bet is that he had asked for extra dosh for the January transfer window (Just like Shearer did!) and Fat Mike has shown him the door:mad2:

His statement saying that he wants a 'manager with more experience' says it all - basically someone that can come in and not ask for money:mad2:

He deserved to have some spending money in Jan for the job he did.

One or two poor games doesn't justify a sacking

Big mistake from Fat Mike I say

From what i can see newcastle owners still think they are a big club, but they have just been promoted and avoiding a relegation battle should be what they hope for and chris houghton has done that so far, always seemed iffy when when he has never been offered a proper managerial contract.

You could always take roy hodgson off us 🙂

oooh yes, what an excellent idea. I think LFC deserve Martin O'Neill next :yesnod:

In all my years following NUFC I have NEVER known a manager show as much dignity, commitment and professionalism to the job as Chris has - I wish him all the very best wherever he ends up next.

God only knows what Ashley and his puppet are thinking:mad2:

They are a massive club, support wise not a lot of teams could beat them and most of their fans are from the North east, not like the Man U and Chelsea fan base which comes from people that will only support the clubs that win.
Newcastle need an ownership change pronto, the fan base is not a problem.

Think my point was lost there bud ,newcastle in my opinion are like man city, while they have a massive following they fluctuate between good and poor, city have yo-yoed between leagues for years and have only become a force (and not a great one)over the past 2 seasons due to the funds they have.

The fan base will always be there but until mike ashley realises that they are a newly promoted club and have no god given right to be challenging then he is going to go through a lot of managers, chris houghton (at the very least)deserved to be given until the end of the season,he brought them up and should have been afforded the opportunity to keep them up,newcastle fans i know would be happy to stay out of relegation positions and maybe at the best challenge for a uefa cup place ,but i believe mike ashley wants them challenging for the top four and that i believe is going to be a major downfall for the club.

I blame graeme souness,he wrecked liverpool then done the same at newcastle:smilewinkgrin:

What is it with Newcastle. They have re established themselves in the premier league, were probably going to finish mid table and have now put that all at risk again. Newcastle love making things difficult for themselves.

I was gobsmacked when i heard this on the news as i drove home.. I am bloody fuming.. What the BLEEP! does Mr sports direct fat git mike think he is doing FFS..

Chris.. i wish you well mate.. top guy and a top manager..

guys guys chill......(pardon the pun) it could be worse you could be a life long boro fan like me.

but in all honesty i couldn't believe it when i heard

chris houghton has done a fantastic job and this shames football imo.

The move will see each of Newcastle United’s 50,000 ‘regulars’ offered £1,000 to change their allegiances to Manchester City.

It will never happen.. Our fans are Loyal and that page is a joke..

Hats off to the fans and the team players who are obviously heavily involved in all of this. They're deffo loyal.

That's just a PR stunt to prove their financial stability.

I bet you a dozen geordies give it a go though just to take the cash, then bin the man city shirts and carry on as normal.

Sorry fellas its a SPOOF site i was trying to bring a little humour to a depressing day for our geordie friends

In footballyou are only as good as your last game!He has had a few bad results recently but he has done a fantastic job...wheres the boards loyalty now eh?
