The 'web' seems to recommend 4mm notched trowel for mosaics (porcelain)

Is this correct and if so is the notch smaller than you would use on the floor to stop adhesive coming through the gaps?

It also depends on the size of the mosaics, youve only stated the thickness of them.

Go for 6mm, that would be my choice with that tile. I'm pretty sure I've fitted that tile before. If you look in my albums I think it's the one labelled, "basin feature". I used a 6mm on that.
