Bal Mat ? anyone used it ?

Had a Rep from bal come and see me, selling the benefits of bal mat 1mm, less adhesive blah blah blah... in theory sounds great.... but anyone used it... ? I'm ditra and to be honest require a track record of this product... as many tilers came a cropper with products like plastic ply etc...

Spot on there, you must use Bal gear for the guarantee.
I just don't see how a mat like this is going to work the same as Ditra..

Used it last week and the first and last time ... Abso poo.. It crinkles up at the edges when it comes into contact with the adhesive ..

Only valid if the adhesive is mixed with deionised water and grout washed off with a bucket filled at a spring in the Highlands.

i must have used 600 m2 of it from the time i started with this firm. got a call last week and was told to stop using it and go back to ditra. i don't know why
