Bal Tank-it

Only just come across this. I assume it's new?

When it comes to paint on waterproofers I went right off BAL WP1 years ago when it became so easy to peel off. Tried many others but settled on Ardex WPC as my go to choice when not using a membrane. It just sits better with me as I like the coarse cement texture.

So how does BAL Tank-It compare if anyone has used it?

Also I notice BAL have got another one out in BAL Waterproof Plus, again is this different to WP1? Although I see it's exclusive to Topps so is probably £400 a kilo.

It's not one I have tried , I like the Ardex WPC too , the job I am in at the. Moment is all Mira tanking paint and tape and wedi board

I haven't used it but the price from Topps was about £150, have a sneaky feeling as it was described it sounds similar to Ardex now.

The 'waterproof plus' is capable of total immersion and is internal and external.
The new WP1 is just a bigger pot than before.
Don't know the 'Tank it' product.

I use the Ardex kit more often than not
