I'm a newbie to tiling and thought I'd start with a little job of a few mosaic tiles as a splash back behind a new corner sink. I've instantly run into problems - the sink isn't square/level to the corner. I can either line the tiles up with the corner and they aren't level with the sink, or I can make them level to the sink and have a V shaped gap in the corner. Photos...

The corner sink:

The tiles lined up in the corner - note the increasing distance from the top of the sink

It goes without saying that the sink isn't level, although the corner isn't exactly square either.

Any suggestions about how I can overcome this? Thanks.

Use 2 large tiles 400x300 or something like that. Then just cut into the wall and basin. No grouting, just silicone the corner and along the basin. Tiles should be a natural stone or porcelain that has the same colour running through it. This way you will not have to use any tile trim.
