if it works for you why change ?you get what you pay for with Ardex products ,they are one of the best adhesive manufacturers, there are plenty of other good ones around Mapei the forum sponsors also offer first class products go to their web site and I am sure you will find what you are looking for

Depends on what tiles your fixing but seems expensive gear, all depends whats available in your area though

£18 seems a bit expensive. As everyone has said, there are appropriate adhesives for every job. I wouldn't recommend D20 on a tile any larger than 300x300 and deffo not on a floor. You will, also, need a white powdered addy if you are fixing a natural stone like travertine, limestone etc., for example.

Aqua - where are you based and then we can see if there is a local supplier who may be more competitive.

Sounds really expensive to me. For tubbed gear, i use either Granfix Supergrip (£10ish), or re-branded Palace Supergrip (rebranded for Ceramic Tile Warehouse £8). Both seem pretty good, but i prefer the Granfix.
I've only ever used Ardex Grout and it's pretty good stuff, but expensive.

Ardex is expensive probably because its the choice of the Architect and we all know that they are always right..................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
