I'd been having a bit of trouble with my yoot starting recently and had been out walking my dog round kendal castle and when I came back to yoot it wouldn't start. I called AA and they came promptly and checked my battery and said it was goosed:mad2:, but, the patrolman told me that I had cover for a replacement (I'd forgot Lou had taken this out) so he jump started yoot and I followed to an autospares shop and got a £135 battery for £25 (excess):hurray::hurray:
Anybody else got this type of cover?

Not in aa or rac but i will be looking into the aa cover , great deal you got there doug, will your cover rise dramatically
upon renewal though, like with ins

I don't think so Rob, but it's already covered the premiums for year (both vehicles are on it).

I may join in this thread if I knew what a yoot was and I've been in the AA since they used to salute yoot.

i gave the AA up last year as they want to charge me £60 more than everybody else because i have been with them for so many years :yikes:

a yoot John....slang for "utility vehicle" I believe
