mosaic trowel
Please can anyone tell me if a proper mosaic trowel is square notched or v notched? and if one is better than the other. is it 3 mm notches? Many thanks Richard- Wood's better

Best trowel for 10mm thick mosaic?
The 'web' seems to recommend 4mm notched trowel for mosaics (porcelain) Is this correct and if so is the notch smaller than you would use on the floor to stop adhesive coming through the gaps? Many thanks for your help- peterparker

Which trowel for 50mm travertine mosaic

why are round notched trowels not easy to buy?
Everywhere i go seems to have only square notch trowels. I want to use a round notched 8mm trowel to lay insulation board and a 10mm one to lay tiles (managed to get the 10mm) but the 8 is proving very hard to find! any reason? should i just use a square notch? pros cons?- dantheram

Which Trowel - 12mm 600/400 Marble
