The bottom of the trays aren't usually a great surface to stick to hence using an s2 like ultimate that stick to all sorts of surfaces

It hasn't stuck at all. I lifted the tray up no prob. I don't think u can ever make a ply wood floor non moveable.

BG change the goal posts to suit by the sound of it.
I remember my chat with bg there was one under coat they would recommend but not hardwall . When I was trying to get an answer why it wasn't suitable and not just take because I said so I got accused of being aggressive.

Which undercoat do they recommend?

The sand and cement isnt meant to glue the tray down its just to bed it down, if you come in the next day and start yanking corners up it will move.
Think about the Mira flight leg kit...are the legs glued down?

Bad bad idea...
If you make a screed mix that is meant for 75mm plus so thin bedding under shower tray there should not really enough thickness for it to be strong enough . Have removed a few trays which were s+c bedded came away really easy. We always bed flexible tile adhesive , much better product to use at those thicknesses .
