I always slc about 5mm, just enough so you can't see the wires, another 5mm onto is basically twice the cost in slc and another 5mm height in the door way that you don't want

What else can it be though? Literally just down one 500mm groutline cracked, all rest of the floor was fine, she said she only saw it cuz she cleans the floor by hand..
Something's moving somewhere...bit of a coincidence there was a crack in base at that point thoughI'm not sure, has it widened the joint?
Haha..not so much after she said grout, she wasn't overly worried about it but tis very strange :|Did your bowels move when she said there was a crack in the floor?
Sorry turned that well off topicI'm quietly convinced I was told on Schluter training course 5mm slc over Ditra was ok, ALTHOUGH not preferable.
No, the mechanical bond between the ADHESIVE and ditra is lost impish if it's been slc'd
I think that might be cos they say minimum 10mm thick on a timber floor. I would do it: insulation board/UFH cable/5mm or so slc/tile adhesive/tileNot all recommend that, but Webber spec 10mm
HahahaOk! Mr semantics! You win.
(but I'm still right)
