Out of those 2 models then the monty.. but i have the monty and i am reverting back to a Rubi TX700..

maybe ill invest in the tx could do with something a bit smaller for small ceramics maybe a little ts cheers guys !!!

I reckon if you need something small as well as the larger cutter then a ts or Big clinker wouldbe fine. I use both Big clinker and TX 700 and I feel they both work well for me.

I love this whole 'weight' debate about the rubi's, you only need to take it from the van to the job in the morning, then put it back at the end of the day! Why do people carry them round all day? Strange folk

i looked at the big clinker was worried i would be buying tat... but didnt realise that some folk like it

i have the rubi and the monty both great but im a sigma convert i would go for the sigma better built lighter and less need to change the cutting wheel had mine 9 mths havent used either of the other 2 since. If you go for the rubi or monty go to tradetiler if going for the sigma then there is guy on ebay selling them at a good price BWT tools is the trading name i bought mine from him excellent service good luck!

I've got a big clinker and to be fair, it is good for the money but, it's only 6 months old and already its a bit loose and wobbly and not cutting as straight as when it was new. The wheels only last a couple of jobs so in the long run they aren't as cheap as they first appear.

SIGMA hard to beat,
I seen a guy carrying a tx700 last week, he passed the job i was on 6 times carrying it.
Turns out he was doing weights training.........:lol::lol:

Seriously though go for what you feel comfortable with too.
