whats a good brand for a chalkline

i finally threw away my fatmax chalkline;nothing but trouble;although i think the humidity in the van might have made the chalk humid hence the blocage;any tips on a new one thanks

Ive used loads of different chalklines and they have all tended to clog after a while.
 
A laser can't draw a line on the floor though! 🙂

Agreed Bri, much like a laser can't go round corners or into multiple rooms, a water level can though, most accurate level imo, they built the pyramids with them.

That is good enough for me.:thumbsup:

How many did you work on Phil?
Did you need a cscs back then?
 
Fat max for me ,the first one I had the line fryed inside but complained to Screwfix and the replaced it,have not had any bother with the second one had it now for 4 years,I'm not one for laser on floors always use the chalk line.
 
I use a chalk line quite a lot, best one i have used is a metal Bostitch one.
They do things that a lazer cant do. And lazers do things that chalk lines cant do.
