Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a group buy of Sunvisors for their beloved Transit. Suitable for all models from 2000 onwards. Low, Mid & High roof.

RRP on these are £240 + £18 delivery

There is a company who is doing bulk buys of these just now.

1 = £219.95
2 = £395.95 = £197.98 delivered ea
3 = £592.95 = £197.65 delivered ea

If we had more interest, we could probably get them cheaper.

Put you name down if anyone is interested. Dave?! 😉

You have to sweet heart your missus , i would have to drug mine to spend that on large sunglasses..

My van came with 2 sun visors, one on the drivers side and one on the passenger side, was it an optional extra on a ford? :lol:

Hi bubble, sorry to but in, i have a question regarding transits. I'm getting ready to chop in my old x reg movano and have been looking at the long wheelbase transits, then i remembered reading on here recently about a security problem with them on the wiring. Is it enough of a reason not to buy one or an easy fix? also what year to and from was it? cheers

The newer models do not have the issue anymore ... 2010 onwards i believe..

As all above. 2007 to 2010 has a wiring loom security problem at the rear door where if cut, it will disarm the locks on your doors. Don't let it put you off though. It's a cheap fix to secure & is cheaper than a new loom or worse, your stuff being stolen!

2010 onwards have had this problem rectified.

I've had a Mk 5, Mk 6 & now the Mk 7. My Dad had a Mk 4 & 5.

The Mk 7 is a fantastic van. So comfortable and easy to drive. Extra mod cons make it even better like heated windscreen, electric windows & mirrors, 6 speed gear box & so on. Aftermarket toys make it even better 😉
