Builder has laid u/f heating on insulation boards and then latexed in a small (3sq.m) upstairs en-suite. Would it be OTT to lay Ditra matting before fixing porcelain tiles?

Just prime it and tile straight onto it , defo no need for ditra .......

We have used that system of laying UFH for years and tiling using s2 adhesives,Especially tilemasters Ultimate it the dogs....Never understand why people put barriers between heating systems....
