Big time, I avoid it. Although yesterday I went to re grout a 35m polished porc floor for a regular customer, he said grout was failing and the manufacturers had been out etc. I lifted a tile, turns out, was an anhydrite screed and they didn't realise when tiling it, was agreed concrete was going in before hand. Didn't end up doing the re grout!

How easy did the tile come up?
I tested tiles on a Gyvlon screed before, primed & un primed using a cement based addy & they came up as clean as a whistle.

I'm gonna book it in to take them all up and re do it. Is it right that tilemaster anhydrite fix can go straight on the screed without the need for sanding? Just 3 coats of primer
You must sand the laitance off of the screed.
The layer that's stuck to the adhesive on the bottom of the tile is probably the laitance from the screed.
If your going with Anhyfix then use prime plus with it but mix it to a 5/1 as I've had it skin on me before & after testing I found the 5/1 the best for priming.
Give it just the one coat & tile.
Anhyfix is a great adhesive.
How long has the screed been down?
I would test it 1st to get a moisture reading to make sure it is dry.

It has been down a year, it was left a calculated amount of time per mm before tiling. Ile be speaking to tile master technical but I have it on good authority that you don't need to sand it with the current formula, 12 months ago it was required but now tilemaster and bal have got it sorted. So I'm told. As for the primer dilution, I'm told it is a specific rate but I'm not sure what.
