What's the anhyfix like to use, I've not used it before, does it mix up like normal flexi or more like ultimate?

It's a bit between the 2, it takes a bit more water than setaflex & you need to give it a good few minutes to let it slake.
I mix then mix a further twice. It's nice & smooth & sticks like the proverbial.

It has been down a year, it was left a calculated amount of time per mm before tiling. Ile be speaking to tile master technical but I have it on good authority that you don't need to sand it with the current formula, 12 months ago it was required but now tilemaster and bal have got it sorted. So I'm told. As for the primer dilution, I'm told it is a specific rate but I'm not sure what.

It totally depends on the specific screed, they all use different quality of binders, some much better than others. All calcium sulphate screeds have a certain amount of laitance, some are that low that the producers claim there is none. I had an on site meeting today with BAL as it happens regarding this and their conclusion is to sand and hoover ALL these types of screeds. On another note these screeds are severely temperamental and can sometimes take longer than they should to dry. you should never tile one unless its been carbon bomb tested.

I use a digital hydrometer to test the screed & I would be very dubious about tiling to a screed that hasn't been sanded.
