Is there anyway of repairing a scratch on a worktop only a small one about 1 1/2 in long, actually thought it was a hair at first. It s a normal worktop, and not high gloss. Any help appreciated.

Thanks, Dave. I think I'm gonna ask the customer if they can live with it for a reduced bill, or get the worktops replaced altogether.

Try auto glym car polish... I've done that on my worn work tops before with some success.

Thanks guys, lots of good advice. Gave the customer the choice of a reduced bill, or new wortops approx £1200, he just said dont worry aboot it, we can hardley see it, and you did own up to it and paid me the full amount.
