Dave you would not believe the problems that have evolved just getting a tv out of the floor and trying to disguise where it has come from!
still working on it . This is one of those projects where I have a great client who has has his own ideas and we we work to achieve his aims .
When we do get to the False joint to look like grout , I am am still thinking along a type of draught excluder set in vertical .
dave it's nuts but sometimes we have to get in to these things

I do love this stone John, I used it on a couple of contracts from our old but not forgotten Paris Ceramics. Very nice work, good to see your getting over the problems.

What i'd give to be involved in a job like this! Wouldn't want the responsibility mind you lol! It looks like the sort of job where you'd be continually learning as you go...

Hi Jonny. Interesting looking job. The substrate you can see in image 5 looks familiar. Is it made up of terracotta type tiles bonded together?
I came across one of these a few years back and remember having to investigate it as it was new to me. There was a reason for using this substrate but for the life of me I can't remember what it was! Remember it was incredibly strong though.
