On a rock in the middle of the sea.
Bought one of these recently and yes I know folk shouldnt really get excited about a gauging trowel:oops:but it's probably the best I've ever had:thumbsup:

Lovely to clean, nice and square at the back for cleaning off adhesive at the end of a course and a nice posh Raimondi handle to boot:smilewinkgrin:

I bought 6 gauging trowels on a car boot sale for 50p each years ago, still got 2 left and they are going strong.

I have had the same gauging trowel for the last 20years. spear and jackson. it's about 3 inch shorter. left it in a mates van. not seen it for 6 months. lt's like loosing a buddy. had to get a new one £23, only £15 20years ago. yours look nice merle. not sure i will need a replacement before I hang up my tools.

got the same trowel myself and the slanted ridge trowels from kwik split big thumbs up:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
