Out of date - Tile Advice

Just purchased Bal ivory grout and it's very gritty, doesn't seem good it's not what I'd expect ,on the packet the date is 25-04-2019 so that's 1 yr old. I've used evo stick grout on white before and never a problem but this is terrible any help , advice thanks

It's the super flex wide joint ,I just wanted to regrout the tiles on the bathroom wall but it's too gritty thanks

Superflex is grainy, mainly used on floors.
you would be better off with Microflex or Micromax2.
