Ever feel like another tile supplier is ripping you off because you're not a regular customer?

Was working at the other side of town today and needed one length of PVC trim. Called into the nearest tile supplier which deals a lot with trade and asked for a length, feeling the £3 in my fingers which I thought would be ample. "No problem mate, that'll be £5.63.". Daylight robbery. :mad2:

Anyone have the same problem or is it best to have a finger in every pie so to speak?

do you have a trade acount with them? thats a n outrageous price to be honest,i have trade accounts in most shops but dont necessarily use the all,they should still give you trade prices

ive been quoted £7 by a shop ive never been to before

had the same trouble around my local shops tried 4 of them for aluminium trim all wanted £12 and the SRP is about £7.50 + vat
