Hi All just wondering what people charge for fixing & supplying no more ply. I normally give people the option. But feel i have lost jobs in trying to get
customers to use it. its much better than using ply but comes at a price. retail price for 10sqm was £190. 3/4 hours to put it down so quoted £240. People would rather go cheap i feel.

I would recommend that they use it as No more ply or many of the other backerboards provide a 10 year gurantee.

Your work is liable for 6 years so some guys who provide a gurantee for 2 years on their work can still get caught out when the customer fails to look after thier bathroom.

The idea is to show the customer what happens when plasterboard gets wet or any other substrate. Unless you are using an expoxy grout grout can absorb water. Simple fact is do it right and do it once.

The correct substrate will help
