Just wondering what the latest tiling tool you've bought is, and why you bought it?
Also perhaps where you bought it from and why them?

This thread could be cool if it got huge.

Hmmmm , A sander for Anhydrite floors, various grit papers to go with it, More sanding discs to fit a rotary floor polisher, 2 new hand trowels ( rubi), Hygometers, Sigma 9P cutter, new set square for marking tiles.....Hang on I wil have a think and come back, I am sure there is more.....oh and Dab radio !

The screw fix one looks more robust ,the aldi one looks like a kids toy neale 🙂
And I know erbauer gear is pretty decent,I've had a sds drill for a couple of years now and it's been really good

3ft rule from Toolman , apprentice broke my last one. Some of the older generation tilers used them and I've continued with it

Is that one of those things that they have on trade shows, ....holds the screw and supposed to self centre etc ?

Thats the one. The unit itself is really good but the driver bits I think must be made of aluminium cos they wear out after only a few screws and spares are nigh on impossible to get...

Yeah I watched the demo at a trade fair a while back...I was tempted but I didnt.

could you name a couple please mate? thanks

Hi Ash, as Neale says, you need a good dust extractor. I Lent it to a mate last week and he raved about it.

If you are grinding a floor, concrete, sreed, slc etc. get plenty of water on there, for walls get the henry rigged to your grinder.

Great bit of kit imo.

Do you have a dust extraction shroud on your grinder Phil? I've been looking for one with very little success.
