Finished 3.june

Porcelain 120x60x10 around sink,aluminium flat trim on edge (My recomendation to client)
cut on the machine from the picture, It is about 6-7 years old cutter from BnQ.(bought for my first tiling job) I think I paid about £35 after discount for it. And machine cut anything I throw on it - still. (only had to change blades - obviously)
I was not sure ifI would be able to produce this cut as it goes to realy narrow strip to nothing but I managed. I was feeding it to blade and other person was constantly pouring water on it using sponge.
Client really happy , especialy after what man from the shop who came to fit it told him. He said it cant be cut like that and that it each side have to be made in two peaces. His grinder would heat porcelain up and it would split.BS.
I said to client let us try it on the my machine. See result.
(I did the job not the man from the shop.)
I used 2 of those tiles. Man in shop said he would need 4.
1 cost £60. Profesional abuse.

The floor is one of the most out of level I have ever seen in the bathroom.
Blame the old house not me.

I dont think it is a winner but atleast I participate.

Here is a shower just finished up last week.
Usually another fellow does our sealer and so we don't always get pics with it sealed.
But I got pics today as we had to go back and do a backsplash at the same house.

This is my first pool. In fact our only experience of mosaics was a border (me) and a shower cubicle (Steve)

Ok here goes for the Hillhead Tiling entry for junes comp,this marble ensuite was done for my bro,same house that i done my last months entry in(herringbone floor),the jacuzzi surround(steps),corner shelves and window boards were all cut and shaped by me and my son.A 6'x3' mirror has to placed on wall yet,hope you all like.sorry about the pics quality,need new phone asap.

Nice work everybody, I seem to have done a lot of run of the mill bathrooms and ensuites this month, you know the sort of thing.
Here's a sitting room floor done in Indian Sandstone!!!
Thicknesses ranged from 5 to 30mm approx
Underfloor heating so tiled with PCI PTB and grey grout
Not what I would have picked but it turned out better than i expected and the clients were delighted

Still got a bit to grout on the steps/give a final clean/coat of polish.
Customer insists I enter for JOM.
Now this is a Victorian terraced house in Northumberland where you come straight off the street into a reception hall. Staircase down with border for edge visability, to lower passage leading to kitchen and river terrace patio.
Every tile is hand cut from Pilkingtons Dorset range.
