I never let any one tank my jobs its the tilers job because if it leaks the tiler gets the blame.
the plumber can fit the shower tray as above then leave the tanking to me.
going to work in the morning to tank out 3 wet rooms in a new build. the plumber said he would do it.i told the builder if he tanks it he tiles it.

what would you use to tank out the above.
I would use shulter ditra to tank the floor and schulter kerdi to tank the walls.
that's what im using in the morning .

So all these years I have been overlaying bouncy floors with 6mm ply, and tiling directly to plasterboard using tubbed adhesive, have I been doing something wrong?
